The Global Governance and Leadership Program
«The Global Governance and Leadership program» is an undergraduate degree program with a global focus on making students better leaders in the private, public, government, or nonprofit sectors.
With its strong emphasis on leadership, the program gives students the skills they need to make tough choices about critical issues facing today's society.
Specifically tailored to help students develop the skills required to assume a future leadership position, this unique undergraduate program combines normative and empirical approaches to international law, organizations and processes, and applies them to the analysis of global political institutions and policies. The program also includes courses in psychology, writing, negotiation, economics and finance, ethical decision-making, logic, and organizational behavior.
All these competences focus on building what employers look for strong communication and leadership skills, the ability to create and maintaincollaborative and productive teams in any environment.
International Master's Programs
In 2010, RANEPA introduced International Master’s Programs, which are a unique product in the Russian education market with practically no competitors. The aim of the project is linked with the Academy's strategic mission: to nourish and equip elite top managers to work for the private and government sectors in international market.
Master of Science in Global Finance degree program is designed to prepare professionals of a new generation in finance and risk management. We are living in the period of globalization and a rapidly changing business environment.

The main focus of the International Master's Program in INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS is a combination of studying business disciplines in a global context and understanding the cultural and social processes in different countries. Graduates are prepared for managerial work, in which it is vital to understand the economic and cultural diversity of different players in real-world situations on the global market. In addition to a basic knowledge of finance, marketing, strategic management and communication theory, graduates will possess the ability to conduct market analysis, make decisions, and complete projects. They will also be able to understand the characteristics and nuances of other cultures, allowing them to work in different countries in a multinational, multicultural global context. Textbooks alone cannot teach this. The program allows students to study for one semester in our French partner-university as a part of the “Double Degree” Program, by which students can also receive a Master degree of Burgundy School of Business.

MSc International Management and Digital Business: disruptive technologies for strategic breakthrough
This is a unique Master's degree program in the field of breakthrough technologies from the leading European and Russian business education institutions – Institute of Business Studies and Grenoble Ecole de Management.
This program is a 2-year full-time course with flexible training schedule (evenings and weekends) allowing you to comfortably combine studies and your work.
Upon completion of the program Graduates receive a Double Degree: a Master's degree from an internationally recognized European business school, and a State Diploma of Master in Management from the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA), the leader in Russian business education, which creates the most important competitive advantage in building a career.
The program, developed jointly with Grenoble Ecole de Management, is focused on developing an ability to recognize, apply and master modern information technologies, including those that are actively emerging and associated with a strategic breakthrough in business.
Project Management is one of the fastest-growing and most popular areas of business education. It is especially relevant during financial crises and times of limited economic resources. Project Management's answer to these challenges is the creation of new ideas and the application of innovative technologies in today’s highly competitive economy. The aim of this course is to provide managers with skills and expertise to formulate and execute the best possible response to project, communication and risk management.
MSc in Project Management is meant to prepare highly-qualified specialists in one of management's most in-demand areas today, as well as to help develop strategic-thinking skills and the ability to accept and implement strategic decisions in varied contexts. The program will also teach students effective management skills for both Russian and international projects.
The managers will acquire a balanced blend of quantitative and qualitative tools through theoretical and applied instructional methods. They will learn to initiate, manage and drive change through the usage of financial and business competence. This approach to project management has proven to be practical and effective in the world’s leading companies.
Master of Global Public Policy
The Master of Global Public Policy (MGPP) program has been designed with the World Bank as a strategic partner and in accordance with international education standards in public administration. Leading public policy tutors and practitioners from Russia, Europe, North America, and BRICS country partner schools are invited to contribute to the curriculum. Instruction is in English and the program offers two specializations: “Russia and the World” and “Global Development and Developing Economies.”
The MGPP program aims to become a source for new thinking about the problems of government policies at local, national, and international levels.
Master in International Management
The Master in International Management at the Institute of Business Studies (IBS-Moscow) is intended for:
- young people with a command of English at the upper-intermediate level or better;
- graduates of Russian and international institutions of higher learning (bachelors or specialists) with little or no substantive practical work experience.
Today the problems of attracting investment, trans-border logistics, labor migration, designing and developing new goods and services and cultivating new markets require applying of cutting-edge managerial experience, as well as an understanding of the intricacies of globalization and skills for effective communication in a multinational environment. It is crucial to have the appropriate tools and skills to identify the right solutions to complex problems.
The main focus of the program is on developing markets as promising areas for entrepreneurial efforts. Special emphasis is placed on key sectors of production within developing markets. Foreign professors from the Institute’s partner universities supervise analysis and research into the development of industry, agriculture and the energy sector in BRICS countries.
Russia and Eurasia: Political and Economic Processes
The Kingston MBA is a collaborative program combining British teaching modules and evening classes with Russian tutors. Students have access to a British business education with opportunities to broaden their knowledge in meetings with Russian tutors, business consultants, and top managers.
