International Master's Program

In 2010, RANEPA introduced International Master’s Programs, which are a unique product in the Russian education market with practically no competitors. The aim of the project is linked with the Academy's strategic mission: to nourish and equip elite top managers to work for the private and government sectors in international market.

Our Master's degree programs are designed in a way that both gives fundamental knowledge and equips students with hard and soft skills that modern employers appreciate. Graduate students often find work even during the learning process.

Students are offered grants covering up to 50% of tuition fees. Grants are distributed based on admission exams results.

During the past few years, the Academy has accumulated significant resources and has developed a network of relationships with international partners and multinational companies in the area of business education. We have partnerships offering double diplomas, internships, and exchange programs with Bocconi University, Kingston University, the University of Dijon, the Geneva Business School.

Students with different backgrounds can apply to our Master’s degree program to gain new knowledge and begin a new career path. All applicants have absolutely equal chances for admission, regardless of where they studied before.  Recognition of foreign credentials is done through the nostrification procedure at RANEPA, as required by the Ministry of Education.

Master of Science in International Management

The Master of Science in International Management at the Institute of Business Studies (IBS-Moscow) is intended for:

  • young people with a command of English at the upper-intermediate level or better;
  • graduates of Russian and international institutions of higher learning (bachelors or specialists) with little or no substantive practical work experience.

Today the problems of attracting investment, trans-border logistics, labor migration, designing and developing new goods and services and cultivating new markets require applying of cutting-edge managerial experience, as well as an understanding of the intricacies of globalization and skills for effective communication in a multinational environment. It is crucial to have the appropriate tools and skills to identify the right solutions to complex problems.

The main focus of the program is on developing markets as promising areas for entrepreneurial efforts. Special emphasis is placed on key sectors of production within  developing markets. Foreign professors from the Institute’s partner universities supervise analysis and research into the development of industry, agriculture and the energy sector in BRICS countries.

Kingston MBA

The Kingston MBA is a collaborative program combining British teaching modules and evening classes with Russian tutors. Students have access to a British business education with opportunities to broaden their knowledge in meetings with Russian tutors, business consultants, and top managers.

Russian-French Master of Business Administration (MBA) Program

The Grenoble Graduate School of Business MBA (France) and RANEPA’s IBS-Moscow program is intended for young ambitious managers in international and Russian companies with an interest in earning an internationally recognized MBA degree from a prestigious European school to help advance their career. Grenoble Graduate School of Business is one of few business schools (1% of schools worldwide) to possess the three accreditations that distinguish leading international business schools: EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System), AACSB (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) and AMBA. Joint Executive MBA Program: the Antwerp Management School and the IBS-Moscow RANEPA

This MBA program is recommended for branch offices directors and top office managers for foreign companies doing business in Russia, executives and top managers of Russian companies active in the European market, and others aspiring to solid career growth.

Master of Global Public Policy

The Master of Global Public Policy (MGPP) program has been designed with the World Bank as a strategic partner and in accordance with international education standards in public administration. Leading public policy tutors and practitioners from Russia, Europe, North America, and BRICS country partner schools are invited to contribute to the curriculum. Instruction is in English and the program offers two specializations: “Russia and the World” and “Global Development and Developing Economies.”

The MGPP program aims to become a source for new thinking about the problems of government policies at local, national, and international levels.
