The Preparing Global Leaders summit in Russia
We invite you on August 24-30 to participate in the Preparing Global Leaders Summit, an international summit that annually takes place at RANEPA in which more than 70 foreign students and young specialists participate.
Preparing Global Leaders Summit (#PGLS2017) is an intensive week long programme of practical simulations, workshops, public speaking exercises delivered by the world leading experts and professionals.
The program seeks to prepare aspiring global scholar-leaders with the tools that are necessary for effective leadership in an increasingly complex world.
Students and young professionals take short courses from internationally recognized faculty and participate in a range of leadership simulations. Specifically, participants will learn how to develop an opposable, interdisciplinary mind with an ability to work with and across ideological, national, religious, class and racial differences. They will learn how to communicate effectively, think both critically and creatively with a particular emphasis on how to advance the global public good.
#PGLS2017 curricula and simulations will cover the following topics: negotiation, strategic thinking, public speaking, networking, persuasion, technology and governance, branding, and public policy.
President and Founder of Preparing Global Leafers Foundation is Dr. Sam Potolicchio. He was named one of "America’s Best Professors" by the Princeton Review, the only one in his field, and the Future Leader of American Higher Education by the Association of Colleges and Universities. Potolicchio has delivered lectures in over 75 countries including at Oxford, Yale, Cambridge, Sorbonne, London School of Economics, Brown, Dartmouth, Bologna and Warwick. He also serves as the Department Chairman and Distinguished Professor in Political and Social Communications at the School of Public Policy at the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration and as the President of Preparing Global Leaders Forum a leadership training program for rising leaders from over 100 countries.
