Graduate School of Corporate Management, RANEPA awarded 3 “palms” from Eduniversal international agency
The Graduate School of Corporate Management at RANEPA has been recognizedfor the first time by Eduniversal, a prestigious international ranking of business schools.
At Eduniversal’s annual international convention , which took place at Harvard University, the Graduate School of Corporate Management was awarded 3 “palms”--which corresponds to the level of ‘Excellent’. The rating agency assesses the performance of business schools, taking into account their level of international recognition and the extent of their influence in various geographic areas. The Graduate School of Corporate Management was the second business school of RANEPA (after the Institute of Business Studies) to receive such a high grade from Eduniversal.
Achieving this prestigious international ranking has become a natural step in the Graduate School of Corporate Management’s development, following its accreditation by AMBA (Association of MBAs) and joining AASCB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business). It is quite remarkable that Graduate School of Corporate Management managed to get 3 “palms” on the first try while generally it is more usual to be awarded one or two “palms” only. With this recognition, the Graduate School of Corporate Management has become a top 10 business schools in Russia according to Eduniversal.
According to the Dean of GSCM, Sergey Kalenjian, “It is a new challenge for us, a new stage of participation in international projects. Being awarded 3 “palms” on the first try is, on the one hand, a pure success and, on the other hand, it imposes some obligations on us. We have to maintain this level for the next years as well, it is necessary to obtain as many votes from deans of other business schools as possible and it means more cooperation with our foreign partners”.
The awarding ceremony took place during Eduniversal’s international convention at Harvard University and attendees included representatives from the world’s leading business school.. Sergey Myasoyedov, director of Institute of Business Studies RANEPA, spoke at one of the plenary sessions. IBS managed to continue its recognition from Eduniversal, having been awarded with 4 “palms” again.
