RANEPA, Egypt’s Mansoura University sign cooperation agreement
On July 3, Rector of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA) Vladimir Mau signed a cooperation agreement with Mansoura University (MU, Egypt). Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Egypt to the Russian Federation Mohamed Abdelsattar El-Badri attended the meeting.
The Presidential Academy and Mansoura University have signed a memorandum of understanding. Along with H.E. Dr. Badri, representatives of Mansoura University visited RANEPA to discuss cooperation prospects, including President Mohamed Hassan El-Kenawy, Vice-Presidents Zaki Zidane and Ashraf Sewelam, Dean of the Faculty of Commerce Mohamed Atwa and Director of MU International Relations Office Mohammed Sallah.
Established in 1962, Mansoura University is one of the largest in Egypt (the second largest in the country), training 146,000 students at 18 faculties. MU actively develops international cooperation and is part of the Tempus, FP7, Horizon 2020, and ERASMUS + programs.
Dr. Mau and Dr. Kenawy signed the document. The cooperation projects will be implemented jointly with the Volgograd Institute of Management, a branch of RANEPA; Director of the Volgograd Institute Igor Tyumentsev was also present at the meeting.
The parties agreed to cooperate in education, research and other activities within the framework of university programs, to organize international academic exchanges of students, teachers and employees and develop joint educational programs for civil servants, managers and masters of business administration.
