RANEPA graduate appointed Acting Governor of Ryazan Region
On February 14, President Vladimir Putin signed an executive order appointing State Duma deputy Nikolai Lyubimov Acting Head of the Ryazan Region.
Noting Nikolai Lyubimov’s experience and quality of work, Mr. Putin: “I assume that you are applying your best qualities and will continue doing so for your new job.” The newly appointed regional leader personally met with the President in the Kremlin.
Mr. Lyubimov said the Ryazan Region is a developed area and working there is a great honor for him. It is a promising area “with a rich potential in tourism, developed industry and agriculture,” he said.
Mr. Lyubimov is a graduate of RANEPA Graduate School of Public Administration he attended as part of the Federal Top-Level Managerial Personnel Reserve Training Program for 2010-2018. He was among the first students enrolled in 2010. In 2016, he successfully completed the RANEPA Master of Public Administration (MPA) program.
