RANEPA Graduate appointed Deputy Minister of Finance
Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has signed an executive order appointing Vladimir Kolychev, a graduate of RANEPA Department of Finance and Banking, Deputy Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation.
Vladimir Kolychev graduated from Department of Finance and Banking, where he specialized in Finance and Credit, in 2006. From 2005 to 2013, he worked at Rosbank in various positions: analyst, senior manager, and head of research and analysis department.
In September 2013, he joined VTB Capital as chief economist, and in May 2015, headed the Finance Ministry’s Department of Long-term Strategic Planning.
The new Deputy Finance Minister will focus on long-term budget forecasting, budgetary system risk analysis, and the monetary and macroeconomic policy.
