RANEPA signs cooperation deal with Sverdlovsk Region
On February 17, Rector of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA) Vladimir Mau and Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region Yevgeny Kuivashev signed an agreement on cooperation at the Governor’s residence.
The parties agreed to develop and expand cooperation in education and management, to combine efforts for the application of innovative teaching technologies and implementing new educational programs, and to cooperate in pursuing joint projects and initiatives.
“We are effectively cooperating in two main areas now – in expert analysis and training and retraining of federal and municipal civil servants,” Mr. Kuivashev said. “But now we need to take it to a new level, to implement project management and establish relevant project offices in the region. The knowledge and experience RANEPA has accumulated by now will certainly be of help to us.”
