RANEPA students attend cross culture program in Germany
Students of RANEPA Global Governance and Leadership (GGL) English-language Bachelor Degree Program did their mandatory cross-culture practicum in Germany from January 22 to February 1. The Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration and the German Management Academy of Lower Saxony have jointly developed a unique program, Global Leadership C a View from Perspective of a Succesfull German Region.
First-year students of RANEPA School of Public Policy took part in a variety of cross-cultural and professional trainings and seminars in Germany, where leading teachers of German Management Academy shared the secrets of doing business.
The participants of the cross-culture program had a unique opportunity to see the work of existing successful companies from the inside. The students visited major corporations and factories in Lower Saxony, including major chemical company Hüttenes Albertus Chemische and Volkswagen AG corporation, which gave them a good idea of the work of various departments of large companies, along with a chance to show their worth in solving professional cases.
At the end of program, the students had to prepare their final projects under the guidance of German teachers, to show their understanding of successful leadership in business and management. The works of our students were highly appreciated by the commission and the administration of the German Management Academy of Lower Saxony.
