The Academy develops cooperation with the Erasmus Plus program
On October 13 the director of RANEPA Russian-Spanish center Olga Pirozhenko presented RANEPA at the awareness session dedicated to the Erasmus Plus program. The meeting took place in the headquarters of the European Union in Russia.
The Presidential Academy work according to the Erasmus Plus program. At the beginning of the academic year as part of this program the Academy signed agreements with the universities of Spain – Universidad Complutense de Madrid and Universidad de Valencia. This cooperation with the universities, gave RANEPA the right to receive 18 grants for students and teachers.
Ambassador of the EU to the Russian Federation Vigaudas Ushatskas, director of the department of state policy in the sphere of higher education of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation A.B. Sobolev and Director of Erasmus Plus Office in Russia O. N. Oleynikova participated in the meeting in the headquarters of the European Union. The awareness session was also visited by the representatives of the Russian universities which are interested in Erasmus Plus.
Russia and the European Union look positively at the collaborative work in the fields of education and sciences which are developing successfully. Participation of higher education institutions of our country in Erasmus Plus programs allows us to move in the direction of education internationalization. It is a unique cooperation opportunity in the sector of higher education which is based on the Bologna agreements policies – as part of the most interesting projects.
Thanks to the Erasmus program more than 3 million European students have already mastered some part of the program in higher education institutions of other European countries. Now this opportunity is also available for other countries. These are internships for students and staff members, joint educational programs, cooperation in the sphere of innovations and best practices exchange, researches support.
Erasmus program meetings will be regularly held from November, 2015.
