Project management system is reviewed under unstable and uncertain situations. Crisis project management objectives are identified and investigated – along with its mechanism, which must be oriented not just at mitigation of the crisis effects, but also at solving the problems of post-crisis period (associated with business development and long-term improvement of its com-petitiveness). Types of crisis project management are studied depending on stage of crisis. Need for modern economy to focus on rehabilitation (rather than liquidation) field of crisis project management is justified here. Need to train the experts with special professional competence ensuring the efficient business management in crisis situation is shown along with need to develop and implement the stabilization and further development programs (aimed at continuous ensuring of competitiveness).
