Американская доктрина международного права: попытки расширения границ правомерного применения силы.
In recent years, we frequently hear that the United States violate the provisions of contemporary international law. Indeed, in the light of the prohibilion of the use of force, which has strongly influenced international relations for several decades, many aspects of American foreign policy, especially related to the use of force, seem to be very ambiguous. In this article, the author attempts to find out whether the causes of this politics are hidden, and what role in the U.S. interpretation of the concept of "use of force" plays an interrelation between the international law and the U.S. domestic law. The most resonant American legal theories aimed to justify the use of force and the waging of war in circumvention of the UN Charter, are also analyzed in the article.
