G20 Deputy Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meeting in Tokyo
On 16-18 January 2019, a meeting of G20 deputy finance ministers and central banks governors took place in Tokyo, Japan, under the auspice of the Ministry of Finance of Japan, the World Bank Group and the Asian Development Bank. The participants were enrolled into 3-days discussion on various topics including: innovations for inclusive development; financing for the Universal Health Coverage ; financial resilience against natural disasters; demographic changes and macroeconomic challenges, etc.
Japan took the pace of the G20 chairmanships on the 1st of January 2019. The meeting of G20 ministers of finance and central bank governors will take place in Fukuoka, 8-9 June 2019. The main summit is scheduled on 28-29 June, 2019 and will take place in Osaka.
