G20 Education Ministers meeting under the Argentinian presidency
The G20 Education Ministerial meeting under the Argentinian presidency in the fora was held in Mendoza, in western Argentina on 5 September 2018. The meeting was held for the first time in the history of the G20.
The meeting was attended by delegates from the G20 member countries as well as international organizations, in particular Audrey Azoulay, Director-General of UNESCO.
The meeting’s agenda aimed to identify the challenges and opportunities of globalization, digitalization and societal diversity to define the skills needed in our future workplace and society. The ministers also discussed international policies for education financing and many other issues.
The meeting concluded with the declaration`s adoption (in English).
