J20: Supreme court presidents and judges from G20 countries to discuss judicial system challenges
The first meeting in the G20 history of the J20 under the Argentinian presidency in the fora started in Buenos Aires started on 9 October 2018. The meeting brought together supreme court heads and international judges from over 20 countries, including guest countries - Chile, Jamaica, the Netherlands, Rwanda, Senegal, Singapore and Spain.
The panels focused on rights and justice, sustainable development, the strengthening of the rule of law, judicial reforms, global democracy and global markets, justice and gender, and the role of justice in the fight against drug-trafficking.
