One Hundred Decisions Made in Osaka
On 29 June 2019, the G20 held a summit in Osaka.
The leaders of major global powers met amid growing tensions between the USA and China, the USA and the European Union, the Republic of Korea and Japan. Despite this fact, the G20 made more than 100 concrete decisions on international trade, macroeconomic policy, international taxation, IFI reform, digital development and use of "big data" for development, climate change mitigation and eradication of plastic waste, promotion of energy efficiency and implementation of the UN 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.
Complete implementation of decisions made in Osaka would allow to mitigate risks for growth and support fulfilment of the prime goal of the G20 - promotion of sustainable, balanced and inclusive growth.
