WORLD ECONOMIC FORUM 2019 STARTED IN DAVOS
On 22 January 2019, the World Economic Forum started in Davos, Switzerland.
The Forum’s agenda traditionally includes the most important issues of the global economy. Topic for discussions planned to be discussed on margins of Davos-2019 include development of regional and global value-added chains; risks and financial resilience; prospects of global energy, healthcare and water resources; impact of digital economy on economic growth; new geopolitical challenges; the World Trade Organization’s reform agenda, etc. The Forum will last until 25th January.
The delegation of Russia’s officials to Davos 2019 is led by Minister of economic development of the Russian Federation Maxim Oreshkin. In his interview the minister highlighted discussion of the WTo reform agenda as one of top issues to be discussed in Davos.
