A new step in educational cooperation with India

On the sidelines of the First International Governance Congress, Rector Alexey Komissarov met with the President of the BRICS International Forum, Mrs. Purnima Anand.

The parties discussed specific plans, including the launch of work with the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration and the Indian Institute of Management Mumbai, the Academy's participation in the Youth Hackathon, as well as the launch of professional development programs for Indian civil servants this year.

During the meeting with his Indian colleagues, Rector Alexey Komissarov also signed a cooperation agreement with Dr. Syed Kamruzzaman, Head of the Indian educational and consulting services company «RusEducation».

The agreement provides for key areas of cooperation, including the development of academic ties with Indian universities and the involvement of Indian students in Academy programs, the implementation of vocational training programs for civil servants in Russia and India, as well as the organization of joint educational, scientific and cultural events.

«The signing of the Agreement opens up new opportunities for the exchange of experience and training of managerial personnel between Russia and India. I am sure that our cooperation will develop rapidly», – said Dr. Syed Kamruzzaman.

The Presidential Academy is actively developing cooperation with India. In December 2025, the International Managers of the Future Olympiad was held at the Rossotrudnichestvo representative office in New Delhi, following which 10 Indian schoolchildren became winners and received the right to enroll in the Presidential Academy according to the quota of the Government of the Russian Federation.
