The program is based at Bakri University in Jakarta and focuses on international experience in economic development and public administration transformation.
"Students will become familiar with the specifics of government agencies in the Republic of Indonesia, visit the headquarters of ASEAN, the largest intergovernmental organization in Southeast Asia, evaluate the effectiveness of technological solutions for Jakarta as a smart city and explore the specifics of the business and investment climate in the country," said Ilya Sheburakov, Deputy Director of the Presidential Academy's Graduate School of Public Management.
Special thanks go to Sergey Tolchenov, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Indonesia, and to Bakri University, our partner organization, for their assistance in organizing the program.
During the training, experts and representatives from the Indonesian government, ministries, and agencies will conduct seminars for participants, where they will discuss strategic priorities for the development of the country's public administration system, economic development and innovation trends, the specifics of special economic zones, digital governance, and urban design.
"By strengthening cooperation, sharing knowledge, and learning from international partners, we will be better prepared to address future management challenges. The future of public administration lies in a shift in thinking: from governance for citizens to governance with citizens," noted Indonesian Minister of State Apparatus Utilization and Bureaucratic Reform Rini Widyantini.
The "Master of Public Administration for Executives" program has been implemented by the Graduate School of Public Manahement of the Presidential Academy since 2018. Since then, more than 600 executives from 63 regions of the Russian Federation and nine CIS countries have graduated.
