Yesterday, within the framework of the First International Governance Congress, a round table was held on the topic: «New technologies to enhance the international standing of the BRICS». The session was attended by representatives of all five founding countries of the BRICS - Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, as well as the UAE — all full—fledged members of the association.
The session discussed how, with the help of modern management technologies, the BRICS countries strengthen their international authority and contribute to the formation of a polycentric world.
Vice Rector Andrey Margolin noted that BRICS is becoming a space not only for economic, but also for managerial leadership.:
«We see how the BRICS countries are forming their own standards in the field of public administration. This is not copying other people's models, but a conscious search for solutions that increase trust between the countries of the association, considering their cultural identity and long-term national interests»
Mrs. Anand Purnima, President of the BRICS International Forum, emphasized the importance of the BRICS role as a unifying link in the context of global turbulence:
«In a period of global contradictions, BRICS is becoming a platform where countries can develop coordinated approaches to development. India's presidency in 2026 will be aimed primarily at strengthening cooperation, technological sovereignty and trust between states»
The participants paid special attention to the digital transformation of public administration and the exchange of best practices in the implementation of educational programs for civil servants and the personnel reserve.
Many joint events of the Presidential Academy together with partners from the BRICS countries are planned for 2026 — field internships for Russian civil servants, scientific conferences, academic mobility programs and other educational projects.
