The Presidential Academy's International Olympiad «New Age of Public Administration» was held in Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia.
Over 30 Ethiopian schoolchildren had the opportunity to show their knowledge and gain admission to the Academy's undergraduate programs under the Russian Government quota.
For the convenience of the participants, the qualifying tests were conducted in English. The Olympiad tasks included two areas: mathematics and an interdisciplinary exam on the fundamentals of history, public administration, and international relations.
In all countries, Rossotrudnichestvo offices — trusted partners of the Presidential Academy —provided organizational and informational support for the Olympiad.
It should be noted that in February 2025, the «New Age of Public Administration» Olympiad was held in a pilot format only in Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. In November-December, in order to ensure enrollment for the 2025/2026 academic year, it is being held in Mongolia, Ethiopia, China, Kyrgyzstan, and India.
