Participants of the EMPM Program "Master of Public Administration" from the Presidential Academy underwent an internship in Oman focused on human capital development. The training was taking place at the Royal Academy of Management.
As part of the program, the trainees met with the President of the Royal Academy of Management, His Excellency Dr. Ali Qassim Jawad Al Lawati, who gave an introductory lecture outlining the Academy's goals and priorities.
Oleg Levin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Oman, emphasized the importance of signing a memorandum of understanding between the Presidential Academy and the Royal Academy of Management in the Kremlin. He noted that this agreement created conditions for the training of civil servants on a reciprocal basis.
"The internship program is designed to effectively combine the educational experience and best practices of modern managers from Russia and Oman." "I am confident that this training will be beneficial for the participants' professional development, will help strengthen interstate cooperation, and prepare leaders capable of effectively responding to modern challenges," noted Oleg Kondratenko, Director of the Graduate School of Public Management at the Presidential Academy.
The "Digital Transformation of the Public Administration System" advanced training program for Omani civil servants will begin in 2026.
Participants became familiar with Oman's public administration system, explored the country's investment opportunities, and the Sultanate of Oman's development strategy through 2040. They also met with representatives of the Ministry of Transport, Telecommunications, and Information Technology and visited cultural attractions.
