Alexey Komissarov, Rector of the Presidential Academy, held talks with Mr. Zhang Donggang, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Renmin University of China. The parties signed a cooperation agreement and identified areas for future cooperation.
It should be recalled that 2026 and 2027 have been declared the years of cooperation in the field of education in Russia and China.
«Chinese partners are the priorities for the Presidential Academy. We have already conducted internships for Russian civil servants in China, and this country offers the most popular academic mobility programs for our students», - noted Alexey Komissarov.
During the meeting, the most promising projects for future cooperation were identified: the creation of the Russian-Chinese Institute for Global Leadership, the launch of a joint master's degree program, the training of senior civil service personnel, the organization of a summer school, as well as academic mobility programs.
«An important symbol of our cooperation could be the signing of a document on the creation of a joint project in the presence of the leaders of the two countries»,- said Mr. Zhang Donggang.
More than 400 students from the People's Republic of China study at the Presidential Academy.
Renmin University of China is a leading higher education institution with a social and humanitarian profile. The university includes 32 institutes and 25 research institutions. Graduates of this university work in most government agencies in China, including the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the People's Republic of China.
