The Presidential Academy's Community of International Students: Cultural Unity, New Projects, and Opportunities

The Presidential Academy brings together students from all over the world, creating a unique international environment. The Academy is actively developing the Community of International Students, which was established in 2024. Its mission is to promote the Academy's culture and achievements abroad and to create a friendly and supportive environment for all students.

The community focuses on enhancing the intellectual and cultural development of international students, unlocking their scientific and creative potential, and building a network of alumni who can represent the Academy's interests abroad. It provides assistance and support to every international student during their studies, fosters open communication and the exchange of ideas, develops an international environment and intercultural dialogue, promotes the Russian language, and organizes cultural and scientific events.

Currently, the Community is headed by Ekaterina Tsulukidze, a first-year master's student at the Institute for Social Sciences. New elections for the chairperson will take place in November, and active preparations are underway. A candidate can be a senior undergraduate or specialist student, or a master's or doctoral student with at least a B2 level of Russian, a strong academic record, and experience in organizing cultural, scientific, or sporting events.

This year, the Community has already hosted a number of memorable events. In January, international students celebrated the Eastern New Year together, and in February, they celebrated Maslenitsa while learning about Russian cultural traditions. The "Great Victory" conference and "Vietnam Youth Day 2025" were held as platforms for cultural exchange. In September, an engaging quest "Around the Presidential Academy" was organized for international first-year students. Another event was the "Russia – Time for Teams" forum, where participants had the opportunity to demonstrate their skills in discussions, project activities, and team assignments in the "Senezh" Management Workshop.

An equally busy program awaits the Community. A culinary competition showcasing traditional dishes from around the world will be held in November. In 2026, students will once again celebrate Maslenitsa and the Eastern New Year. Additionally, there will be events such as the Melody of Youth festival, a trip to the Museum of the Great Patriotic War, and celebrations for Youth Day and the Day of Slavic Literature and the Russian Language. All these initiatives confirm that the Academy's Community of International Students is becoming not only a platform for support and adaptation but also a hub for cultural, educational, and creative life.

By joining the Presidential Academy's Community of International Students, everyone has the opportunity not only to find support and like-minded individuals but also to become a part of a large international family where friendship, mutual understanding, and cultural diversity are valued. Here, you can realize your ideas, discover your talents, participate in exciting projects, and contribute to the development of student life at the Academy. If you want to learn, develop, and share your ideas with others, the Community is waiting for you!
