The Representative Office of the Presidential Academy in the Tyumen Region will be a regional center for boosting competencies of federal and municipal officials in the region.
In collaboration with the University of Tyumen, it will also offer the Pool of Combatant Talents program for SMO veterans. Another track will be comprehensive courses for the region’s business community, identifying talented youth, and driving cooperation among universities.
Artem Berezkin, Head of the Regional Competence Center ‘Russia as the Country of Opportunities’ based at the University of Tyumen, Academic Director of the Tyumen Region Pool of Combatant Talents program, and a member of the Coordinating Council for Youth Affairs in Science and Education with the Council under the President of the Russian Federation for Science and Education, has been appointed Director of the Representative Office.
“The opening of the Representative Office of the Presidential Academy in the Tyumen Region is a great step in developing partnership relations with the regional government and in strategic cooperation with the University of Tyumen, which was recently agreed upon by the Academy’s Rector Aleksey Komissarov and Ivan Romanchuk, Rector of the University of Tyumen. We have lots of plans ahead, including launch of a corporate university for the regional government, joint business education programs, and efforts to creating a new scientific school of management,” said Vice-Rector of the Presidential Academy Alexander Efremov.
“The expertise of the Presidential Academy as a major scientific and educational center will improve the efficiency of teaching management in the region. At the same time, the Tyumen Region boasts unique in-house practices that may be helpful for other constituent entities of Russia. The Representative Office will facilitate the mutual exchange of management decision-making practices, thus contributing to the country’s prosperity,” said Artem Berezkin, Director of the Representative Office.
