The conference "Sustainable development: the possibility of using the SDGs for Russian cities and assessment tools for their development» will take place on the 19th of February at the national research university "Higher school of Economics" (Moscow, Myasnitskaya str., 11) from 10:00 to 13:30.
The conference will discuss the prospects and possibilities of applying the sustainable development goals until 2030 in the strategies and programs of Russian cities and regions’development, mechanisms and tools for assessing their achievement in Russia, including in the context of national projects. The conference will also consider ratings / indices and other tools for external assessment of sustainable development of Russian cities. The Agency "SGM" plans to present the results of the Russian cities sustainable development rating for 2017 (185 cities with a population of more than 100 thousand people).
Representatives of Federal authorities, authorities of Moscow and other Russian cities, business community and NGOs, leading Russian universities and research organisations, experts in the field of sustainable development and "green" economy, environmentalists, media representatives are invited to participate in the conference.
