Ambassador of the Republic of Guatemala visits RANEPA
On October 18, students of the Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA) had a chance to meet Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Guatemala to the Russian Federation Herbert Estuardo Meneses Coronado. He spoke about the relations between our countries and cooperation prospects in various areas.
The Ambassador expressed his gratitude for the invitation to RANEPA. “I am honored to take part in this meeting devoted to the relations between Russia and Guatemala. I consider it very important to visit your school,” Mr. Meneses Coronado told the audience. He added that he had been studying and learning all his life to better serve his country.
The Ambassador’s speech was devoted to the history of development of cooperation between Russia and Guatemala. The students learned about the bilateral agreements signed between our countries as well as the potential new areas of cooperation and the strengthening of contacts. “The fundamental problem between Russia and Central America is that we still know too little of each other,” Herbert Coronado said. “The most important thing in a relationship is trust, and it is only possible with good contacts.”
