Danish Ambassador Carsten Søndergaard meets with RANEPA students in Kamchatka
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Denmark to the Russian Federation Carsten Søndergaard delivered a lecture on Russia-Denmark: 500 Years Together. The speaker shared some details about the history of bilateral relations concentrating on the present-day Russian-Danish cooperation in education, the economy and culture.
Ambassador Carsten Søndergaard shared his impressions:
“I was delighted to give a lecture for university students and talk about cooperation between our countries. I would like to note the great contribution made by acting head of the branch Tatyana Vorobyeva, the school’s faculty and students to the implementation of an extensive anniversary program to mark the 340th anniversary of Vitus Bering and the 280th anniversary of the discovery of the Commander Islands.”
During his visit, the Ambassador Søndergaard also had official meetings with Governor of the Kamchatka Territory Vladimir Solodov and head of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky Konstantin Bryzgin.
