Fifteen RANEPA graduates elected governors in first round
In September, gubernatorial elections were held simultaneously in a number of Russian regions. Fifteen of the newly-elected regional heads governors are students or graduates of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA).
Eight of them, including Dmitry Azarov (Samara Region), Alexander Burkov (Omsk Region), Stanislav Voskresensky (Ivanovo Region), Andrei Klychkov (Oryol Region), Alexander Moor (Tyumen Region), Gleb Nikitin (Nizhny Novgorod Region), Andrei Travnikov (Novosibirsk Region), and Victor Tomenko (Altai Territory), completed the RANEPA professional development program for managerial personnel reserve.
Other regional heads – Andrei Gusev (Voronezh Region), Mikhail Vedernikov (Pskov Region), Roman Kopin (Chukotka Autonomous Area), and Aisen Nikolayev (Republic of Sakha-Yakutia) – are graduates of various RANEPA educational programs.
Governors Sergei Nosov (Magadan Region), Vasily Orlov (Amur Region) and Dmitry Artyukhov (Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area) are currently working on development program for managerial personnel reserve. Sergei Nosov and Dmitry Artyukhov are also participants in the Leaders of Russia contest. We congratulate all the elected governors, especially the 15 graduates and students of our Academy!
