IBS-Moscow and Skoltech open a joint online program on agricultural business
In May, the Institute of Business Studies (IBS-Moscow, RANEPA) and Skoltech have opened the joint online program called “Technologies for agricultural business: 10 main scientific achievements that need to be implemented in the next 5 years”. The training will take place from May to July 2021.
The program will be useful for employees and owners of companies engaged in crop production, livestock breeding, food production, and for those who are looking for ways and tools to increase the margin of their current business or explore new business areas.
The training consists of six modules and lasts for 8 weeks:
Introductory module. Modern technological landscape of agribusiness
Module 1. Analysis of business processes, identification of growth points
Module 2. Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of Things: Economic Impacts for Business
Module 3. Agrobiotechnology: breakthrough solutions and opportunities to improve product quality
Module 4. Combining IoT, Artificial Intelligence and Agrobiotechnology: Increasing Productivity and Product Quality
Module 5. Development of technological projects for the development of agricultural companies
Lectures will be given by IBS-Moscow and Skoltech experts. For example, Andrey Koptelov will tell the students how to analyze business processes, create maps of business processes, model them according to clients’ requests and develop a business results assessment system; Timofey Golovin will talk about making a development project based on Lean Startup, Customer development and Bootstrapping. Skoltech lecturers Laurent Gentsbittel, Cecile Ben, Maria Pukalchik and Gregor Gorgenk will tell the audience about modern agricultural technologies.
Classes will be held twice a week in an online format in the evenings. The training is conducted in Russian (simultaneous interpretation will be provided during the foreign experts’ lectures).
