L'Oréal begins teaching a course at RANEPA
The French company L'Oréal has joined RANEPA practice-oriented training programs. Its managers have delivered a lecture on marketing research, customer service, and the most recent beauty trends.
The L'Oréal speakers included Employer Brand Manager Panaiot Paraskevopulo, Senior Ecommerce and Digital Manager Lancôme Kirill Nikonov, and Social Listening Manager Marina Mezerova.
They spoke to the third-year students at RANEPA Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences (FESS) about the current quantitative methods of marketing research, and customer liaison through organic and sponsored search engine listings for various target groups. The participating students also learned about emerging beauty trends, including those driven by the pandemic.
“The L'Oréal experts have given us an informative and productive lecture. They shared valuable information on how the company calculates important marketing indicators, and held an excellent interactive session where we developed a couple of innovative concepts for one of the company's brands. We will soon take part in a competition of ideas organized by L'Oréal,” said Mikhail Tanko, a third-year FESS student.
“The L'Oréal specialists responsible for building brand-consumer relationships in the digital environment shared some specifics of their activity. And then we did a practical assignment in small groups, where we felt like specialists solving a real case,” third-year Alexandra Ryasova added.
Panaiot Paraskevopulo noted: “The company will continue to cooperate with RANEPA through our leading employees giving lectures, as well as through project work and the involvement of students in case championships and other L'Oréal events.”
