Nizhny Novgorod presentation at 2019 Summer Campus: ideal city for future career (VIDEO)
One of the highlights of Saturday July 13 at the International Summer Campus was the presentation of one of the fastest growing cities in Russia – Nizhny Novgorod. Deputy Governor, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Igor Nosov spoke in front of the Summer Campus participants on The Nizhegorodskaya Oblast: a great place for your brilliant future career.
From the very first minutes of his presentation, Igor Nosov won over his audience, asking them questions about famous personalities who are natives of Nizhny Novgorod. As always (Igor Nosov speaks at the Summer Campus as the general director of SEZ Innopolis every year), the participants were happy to answer the speaker's questions and communicate with him. He explained why Nizhny Novgorod could be a great place for their future career and spoke in detail about the development of its urban infrastructure, using interactive inserts so that the listeners could better understand his message.
The Nizhny Novgorod population is more than 1.25 million. The city is also home to the longest staircase in Russia – Chkalovskaya. Its other landmarks include the house where famous Russian writer Maxim Gorky was born. The Alfa Future People electronic music festival is going to be held in Nizhny Novgorod for the 7th time this year.
Nosov willingly answered all the numerous questions. One of the Campus participants asked him about some tips on how best to build their career, what university to choose and whether it is better to study abroad. The speaker advised the student not to rush the choice of the university, because in a year or two, they might change their mind – Nosov himself actually realized what he really wanted to do only after a few years of studying at the university. Some of the participants asked him how to build a successful career in the civil service as he did. He also enjoyed sharing his knowledge and personal experience.
“I know little about Nizhny Novgorod, although I have long wanted to visit that city. But I didn’t even know that it is so amazing and a leader in many areas, especially in IT, which is now one of the decisive factors influencing a region’s success. Igor Nosov is very nice and open. He is perfectly able to capture the audience and he has good energy,” Anastasia Raschenkova, a student of RANEPA Moscow campus, said after the presentation.
