Participants of RANEPA Summer Campus learned how to build a personal brand (VIDEO)
On July 15, at the International RANEPA Summer Campus, Etien Yanev, Head of Customer Content and Advocacy Marketing at Unify, presented the subject Personal Branding. Today, this expression has gained wide popularity, that made the speaker’s presentation relevant as never before.
Etien Yanev told in details how to promote a personal brand in the age of social media and television. He stressed that before creating a personal brand, it is important to develop a marketing strategy. In order to determine the direction to develop, you should answer four questions: in which area can I be an expert? Why do I want to do it? What is the target audience? What are the advantages of this area?
Not to do things half-way, you should have a mentor who could be an example and motivator. According to the speaker, the next step in creating a personal brand should be development of a specific plan that must be strictly observed. Etien Yanev explained to participants of the RANEPA Summer Campus that the most popular platform to demonstrate your personal brand is Instagram. In addition, it is important to make an eye-catching and effective video business card.
At the end of his speech, the expert shared tools that can be useful in creating a personal brand. As such, Etien Yanev designated photo and video processing application InShot, design website Canva, and website Fiveer.ru with useful materials.
The lecture engaged the audience who asked a plenty of questions. Student Ramachandra Deivishaa shared her impressions of the lecture: “Thanks to this lecture, I learned a lot of new information on personal branding and on how to present yourself correctly. It is apparent that the speaker is proficient in the subject.”
