Pfizer and RANEPA Sign Strategic Cooperation Agreement
International pharmaceutical giant Pfizer and the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration have signed an agreement to cooperate on comprehensive educational projects in the field of healthcare.
The agreement envisages internships at Pfizer for RANEPA students to foster and further their professional skills. The Presidential Academy plans to help develop professional development programs for the company's employees. The partners plan to create a Pfizer Project Lab at RANEPA for these educational initiatives and cooperation.
“Thanks to the partnership with Pfizer, students at the Presidential Academy will have an opportunity to work at the company as interns and gain new skills they will later need in their professional activities, as well as a unique chance to explore the operation of a large international company from the inside. The new memorandum is only the first step, which, I am sure, will become the beginning of a long and exciting cooperation,” commented RANEPA Rector Vladimir Mau.
“Pfizer's mission is to create innovative solutions that change patients’ lives. Science, professionalism and high quality expertise are the key tools to achieve this. Future Russian specialists’ professional growth in various fields remains one of Pfizer's priorities. Cooperation with RANEPA, a school with a history and many years of experience that offers high quality education, is an important step for us,” said Eric Patrouillard, Managing Director at Pfizer Russia and Belarus.
