Presidential Academy participates in 33rd International Education Fair
The 33rd International Education Fair was held in Moscow on November 16; RANEPA Center for Russian-French Cooperation and the University of London Teaching Center at RANEPA presented their programs at the expo.
The event mainly targets high school students and university students who are interested in studying abroad. The expo provides an extensive variety of areas and formats of training to suit any taste – international undergraduate programs for high-school graduates, short exchange trips for Russian students, double-degree programs for bachelors and masters, and business education options. The annual expo is usually the first step in choosing where to go for the next academic year: in November, major universities hold open days, and admissions to most foreign universities are open until February.
Presidential Academy presented one of its priority areas – bilateral formats of network interaction with its foreign partners. The Russian-French University (RFU) display and the report by its representatives aroused great interest among the visitors. Representatives of the Center for Russian-French Cooperation talked about the participating universities and RFU programs. RFU’s important advantages are tailored curriculum and interdisciplinary approach used in courses developed by the consortium participants, as well as opportunities to earn two degrees and study abroad. Thanks to internal agreements, RFU participants can also offer their students better tuition fees.
In 2019, the Academy joined the University of London’s Global Network of 120 Recognized Teaching Centers. The format of blended learning integrated into practice and project work enables the students to simultaneously work on their programs at RANEPA and the University of London. Educational programs at the University of London are implemented remotely; the disciplines complement each other and students obtain fundamental knowledge and applied skills to enter the international labor market.
The University of London Teaching Center presented its master's programs MSc Data Science, Master of Laws and MSc Supply Chain Management and Global Logistics. Visitors were keenly interested in these new formats of training and appreciated the relevance of the proposed programs.
