Presidential Academy, Spanish jeweler TOUS sign cooperation agreement
The Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration and the Spanish jewelry house TOUS have agreed to develop joint educational programs. RANEPA Vice-Rector, Acting Director of the Institute of Industry Management (IIM) Ivan Fedotov and Pyotr Gorshkov, TOUS General Director Russia & CIS, signed the cooperation agreement.
The parties plan to deliver lectures, seminars, workshops and trainings, as well as hold field events where students can learn new things as well as apply them in practice. RANEPA students will visit the company's office, and the best of them will be offered internships. Representatives of the Spanish jewelry retailer will also sit on the state certification commission.
“Theoretical knowledge per se is not enough for university graduates to become real professionals in the modern world. It is important for them to know how they can apply what they have learned in real life, which is why practice-orientated training has always been a priority with IIM programs. Due to our cooperation with a world-famous jewelry retailer, students will have a chance to look behind the scenes, see how the business works from the inside and get valuable feedback from representatives of one of the leading companies in this market,” Ivan Fedotov emphasized.
