RANEPA and Federal autonomous institution “Main Department of State Expertise” (Glavgosexpertiza of Russia) sign cooperation agreement
Vladimir Mau and Head of Federal autonomous institution “Main Department of State Expertise” (Glavgosexpertiza of Russia) Igor Manylov have signed a cooperation agreement.
Rector of the Presidential Academy Vladimir Mau and Igor Manylov, CEO of Glavgosexpertiza (Russia’s authority for state expert review in the construction industry), have signed a cooperation agreement. One of the key areas of their collaboration will be to improve the efficiency and quality of training of qualified staff for the construction industry.
During the negotiations, the parties decided to jointly develop, implement and improve training programs, advanced training and professional development programs for the construction industry. Qualification programs will be developed to train specialists for expert appraisal institutions, as well as individuals planning to obtain licenses to perform feasibility studies and (or) review engineering survey results for construction projects, as well as individuals previously certified in this field.
RANEPA and Glavgosexpertiza will provide comprehensive mutual support to develop and implement innovative educational technologies for training personnel for the construction industry.
“Cooperation with Glavgosexpertiza is an important step in developing the Presidential Academy as a talent foundry, including in the field of urban planning policy and construction. Today our country especially needs highly qualified managers and experts in appraisal and audit of construction projects, pricing in urban planning, technological audit, that is, in those areas that Glavgosexpertiza is responsible for. RANEPA, together with Glavgosexpertiza, aims to promote the development of Russia’s construction industry. We are confident that our cooperation will be fruitful and will benefit the national economy,” said Vladimir Mau, the Rector of the Presidential Academy.
Glavgosexpertiza became involved in training and professional development of specialists several years ago and has since then implemented a number of projects to increase the competence of experts and the development of their professional skills. “The institution of expert review should no doubt play a fundamental role in the education and training of specialists for the construction industry. In our work to prepare highly qualified specialists, we pay special attention to the formation and strengthening of their leadership qualities, creating a developing environment, conducting regular certification, as well as enhancing the skills of our experts,” Glavgosexpertiza CEO Igor Manylov said, stressing the importance of cooperation with RANEPA.
Glavgosexpertiza is also working to raise the level of design in our country. In 2018 alone, more than 2,000 representatives of customers, developers, design companies, investors and other players in the construction sector took part in seminars organized by Glavgosexpertiza. Major Russian companies are regular customers of educational services at its Training Center including Rosneft, Giprotruboprovod, Rosatom, Metalloinvest, Russian Railways, CIUS UES, Transneft – understanding the importance of regular training of their experts and specialists, which is especially relevant with the constant increase in the number of non-standard, technically complex and unique projects.
