RANEPA, BMW Group Russia sign agreement on joint development of Management programs
The Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration and BMW Group Russia have signed a cooperation agreement at SPIEF-2021. The agreement was signed by RANEPA Rector Vladimir Mau and BMW Group Russia CEO Stefan Teuchert.
The agreement envisages the joint implementation of bachelor's and master's degree programs in Management; cooperation in educational, methodological, research and awareness activities; and development of a single academic landscape through exploring new formats of interaction.
“BMW Group Russia and the Presidential Academy are partners. In 2019, the company developed a training course that included lectures and workshops on campus as well as at BMW Group Russia offices. The participants gained an inspiring experience in developing business projects together with project teams from universities in Germany, Belgium, Italy, and France. Many RANEPA graduates joined BMW; the company hired them based on their performance in joint projects over the previous three years. We expect that our cooperation will grow even deeper and will create new opportunities for students who are ready to work on real-life projects in collaboration with professionals from BMW Group Russia,” Vladimir Mau said.
Stefan Teuchert, Head of BMW Group Russia: “As a global concern with presence in most markets around the world and with production facilities in more than 30 countries, BMW Group considers it extremely important to support educational institutions and improve local specialists’ qualifications.
“Participating in our programs, students gain access to practical experience and expertise based on real business processes. We, in turn, get the opportunity to get to know future graduates who could later contribute to the core of our local competencies.”
The partnership between BMW Group Russia and RANEPA started in 2019 with the development of training courses that included lectures and workshops.
The Presidential Academy and BMW Group Russia plan to jointly conduct seminars, workshops, public lectures and special field events for students, to organize practicums and internships, create joint commissions and working groups and explore other joint formats. In addition, they plan to create a consolidated bank of intellectual resources in the field of management.
