RANEPA Board of Trustees meets in the Kremlin
On September 20, the Board of Trustees of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA) met in the Kremlin; Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Anton Vaino chaired the meeting.
In his opening remarks, Mr. Vaino mentioned the high status of the Presidential Academy, and outlined the most important function of the Board of Trustees – that of helping resolve the current and future issues facing the country’s prime school of management.
RANEPA Rector Vladimir Mau delivered a report on the current state of affairs at the university and plans for the future.
Vice-Rector, Director of RANEPA Graduate School of Public Administration Alexei Komissarov, briefed the audience on the Strategy for the Development of Education in Public Administration. The board members also discussed modern challenges, technologies and approaches in the training of managerial staff.
The participants included Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov, Minister of Economic Development Maxim Oreshkin, Head of the Accounts Chamber Tatyana Golikova, Chairman of the State Duma Budget and Tax Committee Andrei Makarov, First Deputy Chief of Staff of the Government Executive Office Maxim Akimov, Chairman of Vnesheconombank Sergei Gorkov, Chairman of Pharmstandard Board of Directors Viktor Kharitonin, Chairman of the ACIG Supervisory Board Viktor Tolmachev, General Director of Cotton Way Alexander Utkin, Member of the Board of Directors of Otkrytie Holding Ruben Aganbegyan and others.
