RANEPA, Federal Treasury sign cooperation agreement
Specialists from the Interregional Accounting Department (IAD) of Russia’s Federal Treasury will help implement educational programs at IPACS RANEPA, will participate in joint research projects, and organize student practicums and internships for teachers.
The cooperation agreement was signed by Vice-Rector of the Presidential Academy Sergey Sinelnikov-Murylev and head of IAD Marianna Khartsiy.
The parties have outlined the key areas for their further joint work at a meeting of the leaders of IPACS RANEPA and IAD.
IPACS Acting Director Ruslan Korchagin noted the importance of developing and promoting the best practices in managing public finance. The parties will cooperate in developing a learning platform for senior students where they will be able to use modern financial technologies used in the public sector of the economy.
Dmitry Solomatin, Deputy Head of IAD, reaffirmed the department’s interest in hiring young professionals, graduates of IPACS RANEPA. IPACS students began to do their practicums and internships at IAD last year. When they graduate, such students are entitled to apply for leading specialist positions at the Federal Treasury. Last year, 10 IPACS graduates received job offers. Twenty senior students are now doing their technology practicums there; many of them are considering a career at the Federal Treasury.
Other participants at the meeting included Head of the Regulatory Information Department Grant Tonoyan, Deputy Director of IPACS RANEPA Alexander Bystryakov, Deputy Dean of the IPACS Department of Public Administration in the Economy Darya Karpova, and Program Director of the IPACS Department of Public Administration in the Economy Zhanna Safonova.
Representatives of the Federal Treasury’s Interregional Accounting Department will be available at the Open Day of IPACS Department of Public Administration in the Economy on April 23 where they will talk about the opportunities for student practicums and career opportunities.
