RANEPA FESS will sign cooperation deal with Free University of Brussels
The Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences (FESS) of the Presidential Academy has launched cooperation with another foreign partner school, Dutch-speaking Vrije Universiteit Brussel (Belgium).
The collaboration began with the two universities’ students developing joint business projects commissioned by Pfizer and Bosch. An interim presentation of the projects took place in April, attended by representatives of the companies’ management. The representatives of the companies noted both student projects, based on data science and process mining technologies, will be used to improve their companies’ business processes.
The student teams’ further work and the final defense of their projects in Belgium will be especially important in this context. The two FESS groups together with their supervisor – head of the Management and Entrepreneurship Department Yevgeny Itzakov, will go to Brussels in late May.
During the visit of the Belgian delegation, the leaders of FESS and Vrije Universiteit Brussel discussed various areas for cooperation, including development of joint international projects commissioned by major companies, academic student exchanges and faculty mobility projects, and Belgian students’ participation in the FESS International year program.
In May, RANEPA and Vrije Universiteit Brussel will also sign an agreement on academic mobility and joint research.
