RANEPA graduate heads ‘Swiss Tesla’
Vladislav Baumgertner, a graduate of the Kingston MBA program at RANEPA has been appointed the new Chief Executive of the Swiss company Alevo, a leading supplier of energy storage systems.
Baumgertner is a Russian businessman, who served as CEO of the Global Ports port management company since 2015. Prior to working with Global Ports, he headed potash fertilizer producer Uralkali for ten years. He is in the top hundred of the Presidential staff reserve in Russia.
Now he will head the Swiss company Alevo engaged in the development, production and supply of solutions for energy storage in networks. The company’s production facilities are based in Switzerland, while its main market is the United States. The company is currently launching industrial production of powerful batteries for power systems and industrial consumers. “Vladislav is one of the most prominent and well-respected CEOs in the field and has successfully led complex and internationally renowned organizations,” said Jostein Eikeland, Alevo’s Chairman.
Baumgertner successfully completed the Kingston MBA educational program of RANEPA School of Public Policy. The Presidential Academy has been implementing joint international MBA & EMBA Kingston / RANEPA degree programs for 20 years. Over this period, more than 1,000 graduates competed the program. Most of them serve at top positions in various sectors of the economy, leading major Russian and global companies.
