RANEPA GSCM Signed an Agreement with the Banking and Finance Academy of Uzbekistan
On May 6, the Memorandum of Cooperation between RANEPA GSCM and the Banking and Finance Academy (Tashkent, Uzbekistan) was signed during the remote meeting.
In the course of online meeting Sergey Kalendzhyan, Dean of GSCM, and Olga Gumilevskaya, Head of International Projects Department of GSCM, discussed prospects of cooperation with Timur Yadgarov, Rector of the Banking and Finance Academy of Uzbekistan. The parties outlined the following areas of joint work: organization of working groups for studying educational experience of the parties, conducting business researches of mutual interest, organization of trainings, seminars and other forms of education.
It was decided to develop joint educational programs at Bachelor’s , Master’s and DBA level and to share the unique experience: to integrate the Euromanagement module of GSCM into the structure of the programs of the Banking and Finance Academy.
As a result of the meeting a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed, according to the provisions of which the two educational organizations will be able to combine efforts in training world-class managers. The first joint activities are planned for this year.
Banking and Finance Academy of Uzbekistan was founded in 1996 and since then it has trained more than 4,000 highly qualified managers and specialists. Today dozens of graduates of the Academy are heads of banking and financial organizations, public authorities at the local level. The Academy keeps up to date and adapts to new trends: it carries out a lot of work on digitalization of education, cooperates with business corporations and international organizations. Since its establishment, more than 200 students and teachers of the Academy have participated in the programs of the Yeoju Institute of Technology of the Republic of Korea, Shanghai University, in the courses of international technical and economic cooperation of India, in the programs and internships of the International Cooperation Agency of Turkey, the Management Development Institute of Singapore, Saint Petersburg State University of Economics and Finance, the US Federal Reserve System and the Bank of Egypt.
