RANEPA, the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan and Gazprombank agreed on cooperation
On July 16, RANEPA, the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan and Gazprombank (JSC), signed an agreement on scientific-and-technological and educational cooperation.
Under the agreement, RANEPA, Gazprombank and Innopolis University (the Republic of Tatarstan) planned a joint implementation of educational projects in digital technologies and digital economy. The document was signed by the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Vladimir Mau, Rector, RANEPA and Vadim Kulik, Deputy Chairman of the Board, Gazprombank.
‘The signing of the agreement on scientific-and-technological and educational cooperation between RANEPA, Gasprombank JSC and the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan is an important step to extend our interaction in the digital economy. Within the cooperation, we will be glad to enroll employees of Gazprombank for further training, both in Moscow and in our branch network throughout Russia. RANEPA students will be able to pass an apprenticeship at the bank. I am sure that our partnership will break new ground. Signing of the agreement in the Innopolis site is extremely significant. Here we annually hold one of the largest international events of RANEPA, the RANEPA Summer Campus, which brings together 220 best students from Russia and many countries around the world,’ Vladimir Mau, Rector of RANEPA said.
‘The program of technological transformations that we began to implement in Gazprombank, requires us to have rare, often unique competencies in high technologies, mobile development, data analysis and digitalization. Cooperation with Innopolis and RANEPA, which provides for the implementation of joint educational programs, apprenticeships and practices, will enable us to train specialists with the necessary technological competences,’ Vadim Kulik, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Gazprombank stressed.
‘Our cooperation began last year as part of the development of the course Digital Society and Digital State, which was delivered by Innopolis University professors for students of six faculties of RANEPA and was highly appreciated. The agreement signed will enable us to expand and intensify our joint projects,’ Roman Shaykhutdinov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – Minister of Information and Communication said, ’In the near future we plan to start building online courses, educational and apprenticeship programs for developers. The agreement once again proves the high level of relevance, competences and opportunities of the Innopolis University. The Republic of Tatarstan pays great attention to training qualified specialists and creating comfortable conditions for life and development.’

The Innopolis University is a Russian university specializing in education and research in information technologies and robotics. The University has 81 research and pedagogical employees with experience at leading universities and IT companies of the world, 20 research laboratories and centers.
