RANEPA to prepare foreign applicants for Russian-language programs
The Institute for Social Sciences (ISS) and the Admission Committee of RANEPA have developed a training course for those who want to apply for a Russian-language Bachelor degree program.
This course was introduced to make it easier to integrate foreign applicants into the educational process. In addition to lessons of Russian as a foreign language, it includes major disciplines of upcoming Bachelor programs, as well as country studies and cross-cultural communication. Its best students will receive quotas for further education and tuition fee discounts.
“One of the main goals of the Presidential Academy is the development of the international community in Russia. After passing the course, students accepted into a Bachelor’s program get into an adaptational group, where during the first year the majority of disciplines are taught by experts who, besides their subject, teach Russian as a foreign language,” says Ekaterina Kuzina, Head of International Policy Department of ISS RANEPA.
