Sixth volume of Vladimir Mau’s works published (books 1 and 2)
Delo Publishing House has published the first and second books of the sixth volume of RANEPA Rector Vladimir Mau’s works.
These books contain journal articles and interviews concerning the period of 1987-2015. The author critically assesses issues concerning the transformation of the Soviet and market economies, the challenges of post-communist development and problems of the 1998 financial crisis, the features of recovery growth in the 2000s, as well as the challenges that emerged in the 2008 global economic crisis. The book permits one to understand the spirit of a complex and interesting period, to understand the nuances of the intellectual and political fight for the main areas of the socioeconomic development of the country over the last 30 years.
Vladimir Mau is a doctor of economics, professor, holder of a PhD in applied economics from Pierre Mendes-France University (France), and a revered economist in the Russian Federation. He is a Class I active state adviser for the Russian Federation.
