Successful leadership secrets from Frank Ebbecke
FE Communications CEO, journalist and book author Frank Ebbecke gave a workshop for senior high-school students, Building Great Leaders, at the Open Day of the English-language undergraduate programs, Global Governance and Leadership and European Business, Languages and Culture at RANEPA Institute for Social Sciences (ISS).
The event, organized by the School of Public Policy and Management at RANEPA ISS, was attended by over 100 students from Moscow schools. Frank Ebbecke discussed with his audience how to become a true leader and what qualities one needs for that. The speaker explained to the high-school students how a leader differs from a manager, and gave them some valuable tips on how to foster and develop an effective leader in oneself.
Frank Ebbecke gave several interactive tasks to the participants aimed at developing public speaking skills and shared some secrets about how to overcome the fear of public speaking and feel confident in front of any audience. After the workshop, the participating high-schoolers, their parents and school principals were briefed on the English-language undergraduate programs Global Governance and Leadership and European Business, Languages and Culture, and talked to RANEPA students and professors.
