The Government of Chuvashia and the Presidential Academy to jointly develop human resources capacity in the region
As part of the business agenda of the Gaidar Forum-2022, Oleg Nikolayev, Head of the Chuvash Republic, and Vladimir Mau, Rector of the Presidential Academy, have signed an agreement on cooperation in the sphere of education and management.
The parties agree to join their efforts in implementing contests, projects and educational programs for the residents, managerial and professional teams of the Chuvash Republic, in order to build talent pools and develop the competences needed for effective implementation of the regional development projects.
The agreement envisions the development of the Academy’s highly competitive educational programs in Chuvashia – a championship on strategy and business management Global Management Challenge (regional stage of the “Chuvash Republic Cup on Strategy and Business Management” championship), All-Russian Youth Management Cup “Manage!”, All-Russian Social Initiatives Accelerator “RAISE”, and a number of other projects, including those of the “Russia – Land of Opportunity” platform, such as All-Russian Management Competition “Leaders of Russia”.
Federal experts will also assist in organizing open regional personnel competitions and shortlisting candidates for targeted managerial positions in the state authorities of the Chuvash Republic. In particular, the “Managers Team” and “Young Leaders Team” competitions initiated by the Head of the Chuvash Republic Oleg Nikolayev with the aim of improving the quality of public administration and attracting specialists with outstanding leadership qualities and competences to managerial positions in various spheres have been held in Chuvashia since 2020.
Besides, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Chuvash Republic and the Presidential Academy have signed an agreement to organize consultations, including assistance in implementing the Strategy of Social and Economic Development of the Chuvash Republic until 2035, evaluating the efficiency and developing recommendations on upgrading the system for managing the social and economic development of the region, evaluating the investment potential of the Chuvash Republic, etc.
The Gaidar Forum is held on January 13-14 at the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA). The forum is organized by the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, the Gaidar Institute for Economic Policy, and the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia. The forum is supported by the Government of the Russian Federation.
