The Presidential Academy strengthens anti-COVID-19 measures
On June 21, RANEPA Rector Vladimir Mau signed an order enabling additional COVID-19 prevention and vaccination measures.
Last week Moscow authorities instructed all educational institutions to organize vaccination for 60% of their staff. On June 16, the Council of Rectors of Higher Education Institutions of Moscow and Moscow Region approved recommendations detailing the vaccination procedure in higher education institutions.
According to the order signed today by the RANEPA rector, all the employees in the Academy territory in Moscow must receive the first component or a single-component vaccine by July 15, 2021, and the second component by August 15. Exception is made for employees with medical conditions preventing vaccination. They will be able to switch to remote working mode.
Starting June 23, the Academy will not hire new employees without a vaccination certificate.
Employees who have already been vaccinated or who have had COVID-19 must present appropriate documentation – a certificate of vaccination or a certificate of antibodies issued no later than May 1, 2021. Similar requirements apply to employees of third-party organizations working on the Academy premises.
Additional restrictions may be introduced by heads of the Academy’s branches in different parts of the Russian Federation, following the resolutions made by the respective local authorities.
