The School of Public Policy of RANEPA has spent Day of Global Governance and Leadership
RANEPA Day of Global Governance and Leadership took place at the School of Public Policy. The event was the first to test drive the international English-language bachelor Global Governance and Leadership, which Professor Sam Potolicchio runs from the next school year.
More than 100 seniors from schools of Moscow and Moscow region became participants of Day of Global Governance and Leadership. High-level English skills were indispensable criteria for participation, as the test drive and the program of a bachelor degree Global Governance and Leadership is taught completely in English.
Besides lectures this day various interactive activities were prepared for students: simulations on effective communication, technology of decision-making and management in the global world. Dmitry Polikanov, Russian political leader, scientist, president of charity supporting fund of deaf-blind "Connection", delivered his lecture on Public Speaking. The speaker told the participants how to build public statement, find target audience and monitor their feedback. According to the expert, even not semantic filling of the thesis, but a form of its submission is often more important.
The program director Dr. Sam Potolicchio is the president of Preparing Global Leaders Foundation, professor of RANEPA and the director of global education at School of public policy of Georgetown University (USA). Sam Potolicchio was entitled as a future leader of the higher education and is called the best professor in the United States in his field according to The Princeton Review. He gave lectures at universities in more than 70 countries, in particular in Yale, Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard, Dartmouth, Brown, Sorbonne and Varvike.
