Unique program of municipal administrative personnel training presented at Gaidar Forum
A unique program for the training of qualified administrative personnel for municipal authorities has been presented during the Gaidar Forum 2017 at the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA). According to the invited experts, professional training plays an important role and is key to successful development of public administration in Russia.
The program is aimed at municipal development, attraction of investments and development of one-company towns through the training of highly qualified personnel and communication between the constituent regions of our vast country. Naturally, this requires skilled inter-level management teams; RANEPA Graduate School of Public Administration (GSPA) is working on it.
RANEPA Vice-Rector, GSPA Director Dmitry Butashin, it is very important for a future leader to find a group of like-minded individuals who will propose initiatives, introduce innovations and implement them in a responsible manner. He said he sees the ideal leader as “a person with the ability to change themselves and change their environment.”
President of Ward Howell Sergei Vorobiev identified an essential component for any reforms as a “sense of urgency,” as people have to want to change themselves.
Deputy Chairman of Vnesheconombank Irina Makieva spoke in detail about the history of developing and implementing specialized programs to improve the qualification of administrators in public authorities.
